How Hero works
No black box. This is the full cycle Hero runs on every company it finds, from the first search query to the moment a prospect reaches your team.

Rolling out
Hero runs every stage through Ready today. The stages after it are rolling out.
Step by step
What happens at each stage.
- 1
Search
Hero turns your ideal customer profile into a search plan: the industries, the regions, and the phrasing a buyer would actually use. It works that plan continuously and rotates through it, so it keeps reaching companies it has not seen before rather than re-reading the same first page of results.
- 2
Research
Before scoring anything, Hero reads the company's own website. What they sell, who they serve, how they describe themselves, whether they are hiring, whether they have expanded. This is the step most tools skip, and it is the reason the score means something.
- 3
Qualify
Each company is scored out of 100 against your profile, with the reasoning written down. Only companies scoring 80 or above are eligible for delivery. Everything below the bar is screened out behind the scenes and never counts against your plan.
- 4
Enrich
Hero works out who owns the decision at the company, then finds and verifies the ways to reach them: a verified email where one exists, LinkedIn, and a business phone number.
- 5
Ready
Once the research, the score, and a usable contact are all in place, the prospect becomes Ready and lands in your pipeline with everything attached. Delivery is paced daily so the flow is something a team can keep up with.
The six jobs
What Hero is doing while you sell.
Market Discovery
Hero builds a search plan from your ideal customer profile and works it continuously, rotating queries and regions so it keeps surfacing companies you have not seen yet.
Search plan
Hero rotates query windows so it keeps reaching new companies.
Company Research
Before scoring anything, Hero reads the company's own website: what they sell, who they serve, how they are growing, and the gaps a conversation could open with.
Website research
- Careers page lists three commercial sales openings
- Second service territory announced this quarter
- No intake automation visible on the site
Prospect Intelligence
Hero scores each company against your profile and keeps the reasoning. A company only reaches your team once Hero can explain, in writing, why it belongs there.

Decision-Maker Identification
Finding the company is half the job. Hero works out who actually owns the decision, then enriches and verifies the ways to reach them.

Outreach Guidance
Every prospect arrives with an angle: the reason to reach out now, the pain point to lead with, and the approach worth trying first.
Outreach guidance
Angle
They are opening a second territory while still routing every maintenance request by hand. Lead with after-hours intake for the new region.

Why Hero picked this prospect
Regional facilities management group serving office parks and light industrial sites across central Ohio. Handles maintenance contracts in house and subcontracts specialty mechanical work.
Recommended outreach angle
They are opening a second territory while still routing every maintenance request by hand. Lead with what after-hours intake would do for the new region, not with a product tour.
